Stapelia Leendertziae ‘Black Bells’

Pot size (diameter): 9 cm, Approx Height: 20 cm.

Supplied in a plastic pot.

A low maintenance succulent plant known for the starfish shaped flowers that it readily produces.

There  are many different varieties of Stapelia which each produce a different type of bloom, the Leendertziae produces dark maroon coloured flowers with a bell shape.

This plant is incredibly soft to the touch, if you ever had Sylvanian Families growing up – the  Leendertziae’s stems have the same fuzzy ‘flocked’ feeling! 

An easy-care plant which is happy to be left on a windowsill and not fussy about missing the occasional watering.

Care:

Light: Bright sun light will promote the best growth and most vibrant colours.

Water: Let the soil completely dry out between waterings, bottom watering is advised but do not let the plant sit in water.

Food: Will appreciate being fertilised every few weeks during the growing season; use a light cacti fertiliser.

Humidity: Will thrive in a normal home humidity but will also tolerate dry air.
